What is Recite?
Recite enables caregivers, teachers, and service providers to quickly build activities tailored to support their struggling or emergent writers build sentences one word at a time and meet their unique needs. Use our sample activities with sentence lists or customize them. Bulk upload your own sentence lists to create brand new activities in seconds!
How do I create a new activity?
Recite allows teachers and caregivers to create new activities. Each activity can hold as many sentences. An example of an activity could be "Farm Animals" or "Summer" or "Careers" and so on. To learn how to create activities watch the attached video.
How can I import activities from Google Drive?
Recite allows teachers and care givers to share activities via Google Drive. It is as simple as logging into Google account and import the shared activities into Recite. You can backup all your activities onto Google drive. If you have multiple devices with Recite on it, you can easily import activities between devices.
How do I export activities to Google Drive?
Recite allows teachers to backup activities onto Google Drive. Simply go to an activity and tap on GDrive button to export it to Google drive. Recite recommends backing up activities onto Google Drive periodically. Backing up activities will safeguard against a device failure.
How do I launch an activity in a student mode?
Teachers or caregivers can simply click on "Student Mode" to activate it. Once the activities are configured, teachers can handover the device to students by activating the Student Mode. Students will work in that mode until finished working on the activities.
